Reading Football Club get their man

Jan 26, 2012 1 Comment by

After years of waiting for “the right” person to buy into the Royals, John Madjeski has got the man he has been talking about.  Sir John has come into criticism from the fans for not investing more into the club and if not, sell it so that Reading could keep up with other big spenders in the Championship like Leicester and West Ham.

But Russian Millionaire, Anton Zingarevich studied in Reading and him and business partner Chris Samuelson are in it for the long run.  Being a season ticket holder, it has been encouraging to see Reading’s progress over the past 3 months which has seen the rocket to within points of the automatic promotion places.  Now, with the additional financial investment that these partners could bring could promotion be to much to ask for this season?  Or will the process take longer.  Either way as Reading grows as a town possibly into a City and continues to be at the centre of the UK economy, will our football club be in the Premiership too?

What do you think?  I for one can’t wait for the Bristol City game this Saturday to feel the atmosphere of a club on the up.

I have to say this is another bright spot in the recent history of Reading FC, with the 2 signings today there could be good times ahead but feel this season is too soon but i do think Reading will be very strong next season.
