Medway is a town in South England. It amalgamated with Gillingham Borough Council and part of Kent County Council to form Medway Council, a unitary authority independent of Kent County Council, hence the larger population figures.
The main towns involved are, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rainham. Medway is siutated on the River Medway
